Dear Rio Vista Families,

 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Theresa Stauffer and it is with great joy that I introduce myself as the principal of Rio Vista Elementary.  I am honored to guide our school community in the journey of learning, growth, and achievement. Your children bring unique talents and personality to the classroom. Alongside each of you, I will nurture their journey to celebrate their successes and guide them through challenges. By working together our students will thrive and make great memories here at Rio Vista.

 

I have a passion for education. My commitment to student achievement is delivered with a collaborative leadership approach. I have had the privilege to be a teacher, instructional coach, coordinator, and assistant principal at various schools in the San Fernando Valley for over 26 years. I am excited to bring my skills as an educational leader to Rio Vista, where I will be working with you as a partner in education.

 

As we prepare to open our doors for the 2024-2025 school year, I look forward to meeting each of you.  I extend a warm welcome to both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. Thank you for entrusting Rio Vista with the well-being and education of your children. We look forward to working with you to create a year filled with learning, growth, and achievement.
